A group of students training to become nurse anesthetists has almost graduated. As a group teacher, I discuss with them how the last day of class, including the certification, will proceed and that I will ultimately address them.

In this explanation I make the standard joke that for 25 euros I tell them what they want to hear and for 50 euros I leave out what they do not want to hear. One of the students shyly asks if I don’t want to say that the course lasts three years. His parents think it is three and a half years.
