You no longer learn the tricks of the trade at school, but in the company itself. Both experienced employees and recently graduated specialists follow a kind of lifelong lesson and further training here.

“That goes very broadly. For example, about language knowledge. Dutch-French. We are a bilingual company. We are also located in Northern France. So French for advanced students, but also basic electricity courses, air conditioning in the workshops or about specific software tools and the use of social media.”

Not just the employees; even management comes here for extra training.

“We have a very specific DNA. Very people-oriented, very customer-oriented. We also ensure that we are champions in every area. In terms of technology, research and marketing,” says Vincent Yserbyt, the managing director of Ghistelinck Group.

And those are the things they teach in the new academy on the company site itself. This training concept may break through everywhere in the coming years, they say here.
