MUNICH (dpa-AFX) – The trip to the gas station has become more expensive again. The price of diesel in particular has increased, as the ADAC reports. The nationwide daily average on Tuesday cost 1,690 euros per liter. That was 2.7 cents more than a week ago. Compared to five weeks ago, the increase is 10.4 cents per liter. E10 rose in price over the week by 1 cent to 1.741 euros per liter. Five weeks ago it was 8.6 cents cheaper.
The ADAC identified the rising oil price as the main cause of the increase. In addition, the CO2 price that increased at the turn of the year also made fuel more expensive by around 3 cents per liter./ruc/DP/jha
