Patrik Laine’s Swedish teammate Emil Heineman has been involved in a traffic accident, Aftonbladet news.
There is currently no information on the severity of Heineman’s, 23, injuries. The accident happened in the evening.
The Montreal Canadiens are currently in Utah preparing for an away game that will be played this coming night.
Heineman’s agent Marcus Isaksson commented on the situation to Aftonbladet. He is also waiting for more information from North America.
– A car ran over him, but it’s nothing very serious. Maybe his ankle is just broken, and the doctor is examining the injury, Isaksson speculates.
Heineman has scored 10+7=17 in 41 matches this season. He is playing his first full season in the NHL and is third in the goal exchange for rookies.
