German referee Manuel Grafe, who served as a FIFA referee between 2007 and 2018, commented on that much-discussed position after the Konyaspor-Fenerbahçe match played in the 19th week of the Trendyol Super League.
Evaluating the position in which TÜMOSAN Konyaspor expected a penalty in the 67th minute, the former referee stated that Kostic committed a foul and should have received a yellow card according to the UEFA Referee Rules.
Manuel Gräfe said, “If you use your arm or elbow as a ‘weapon’, there should be a red card, but there is no such situation in this position. If you use your arm or elbow as a tool against your opponent, this means a foul and a yellow card, according to the UEFA Referee Rules.” he said.
HERE IS THAT POSITION
