Noah Okafor should strengthen RB Leipzig’s attack. But after the medical check it was clear that the Swiss would not come.

Noah Okafor’s loan from AC Milan to RB Leipzig has fallen through. As several media outlets unanimously report, the medical check showed that the 24-year-old is not yet ready for action and would not need immediate help. That’s why the Bundesliga club withdrew from the obligation, it goes on to say

Okafor landed in Leipzig on Monday and there was no enforcement report. The professional, who injured his calf in mid-December, had already trained with the team in Milan. Before Leipzig’s game this Wednesday at VfB Stuttgart (from 8:30 p.m. in the live ticker on t-online), Okafor should become the second winter signing after Wolfsburg’s Ridle Baku and increase the competition in the attack.

RB had agreed with Milan on a loan until the end of the season and negotiated a purchase option worth 25 million euros.
