Singer and actress Jessica Simpson is divorcing her NFL star husband About Eric Johnson. The couple managed to be married for 10 years.
Simpson talks about the breakup Peoplefor the magazine.
– Eric and I have lived separately. We have tried to navigate a painful situation, says Simpson.
– Our children are a priority, and we focus on what is best for them. We are grateful for all the love and support we have received.

The couple first met through a mutual friend in 2010 and got engaged in November of that year.
Simpson and Johnson married in July 2014 after four years of dating.
In 2023, Simpson commented to People magazine that Johnson is her soulmate.
– It’s not hard for me to love anyone, but I’ve always thought that I’m hard to love, that I’m too much for people or that my schedule is too demanding, Simpson said.
– Eric understands my heart better than anyone else I’ve ever met in my life.
Simpson also said that their relationship has always felt “easy” and that they have always tried to “keep the romance going, even with three kids.”
The reason for the separation, Simpson does not comment on it further. He says the couple has drifted apart.
Simpson was previously married to actor and singer Nick Lachey from 2002 to 2005.
