Former Prime Minister Sophie Wilmès (MR) did not spare criticism of her party chairman Georges-Louis Bouchez on Sunday. She reprimanded him for bringing in the ultra-right politician Noa Pozzi and also pointed out to Bouchez that he cannot combine his role as party chairman with that of deputy prime minister. That double bubble wash did not come out of the blue, but it still hit Bouchez hard. Political scientist Dave Sinardet puts things into perspective: “Bouchez’s autocracy causes irritation.”
