When asked about a possible exit clause in Jamal Musiala’s new working paper at FC Bayern, Dietmar Hamann made it clear on Sunday evening on “Sky90”: “I swallow more when I hear the salary than when I hear the exit clause. We’re talking about 25 or 26 million euros .”
Musiala (contract until 2026) is “a wonderful and great player,” praised the ex-professional. According to Hamann, the fact that the 21-year-old could potentially become the top earner if his contract is extended in Munich poses a danger, according to Hamann.
“If he [Musiala] extended tomorrow for 25 million, then Kimmich won’t play for less money,” the 51-year-old explained his opinion. Hamann was alluding to the fact that FC Bayern is currently talking to other stars about extending the collaboration. Among other things Contracts for Joshua Kimmich, Alphonso Davies, Leroy Sané, Manuel Neuer and Thomas Müller expire in the summer.
