Cyclocross rider Puck Pieterse has fulfilled her role of favorite at the Dutch championship. The 22-year-old rider from Fenix-Deceuninck won the second national title of her career after a beautiful solo.
Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado finished a distant second. Denise Betsema took third place. Marianne Vos ended up just off the podium after having to let Betsema go in the last lap. World champion Fem van Empel and defending champion Lucinda Brand were missing in Oisterwijk.
