Mina September back on TV (starting tonight on Rai 1 at 9.30pm) with the new episodes of the third season of the much-loved series. In Mina September 3the social worker will have to deal with new cases, marry Domenico, mourn Olga’s death and undertake the bureaucratic process to adopt Viola.
In short, there are irons in the fire in these new episodes divided into six evenings. There will still be the intrusive aunt Rosaplayed by Marisa Laurito, the Mina’s best friends (Titti and Irene) and new entries, such as Fiore, the young assistant who will help the protagonist in cases of betting.
Mina September 3: previews of the first episode, the plot
Mina Settembre is back, the social worker created by Maurizio de Giovannimuch loved by the Rai 1 audience. A year has passed since Olga’s death and Mina (Serena Rossi) is about to get married to Domenico (Giuseppe Zeno). The two live at a distance: she in her Napleshe, for work reasons, in Barcelona. The first case to be solved is linked to the minor Kevina boy whom Mina knows well and whom she had brought back to the right path. After his father is released from prison he begins to deal. Mina tries to protect him once again and has his parents arrested. However, the 14-year-old doesn’t want to end up in a foster home. Mina and Fiore find a solution: they convince their older brother Jonathan (Erasmo Genzini) to take care of him.
The wedding of Mina Settembre and Domenico
The wedding between Domenico and Mina is private and intimate. That day, the closest relatives and friends show up in the town hall: Viola, aunt Rosa, Rudy (Nando Paone), Luigi (Yari Gallucci) and Mina’s best friends: Irene (Cristian Filangeri) and Titti, who arrives in Naples from London (now lives there).
Domenico is late. How come? Everyone wonders what happened. Apparently there was a plane delay. In reality the man has a surprise for Mina: «I’m not leaving for Barcelona again, I’m staying here in Naples with you and Viola», confesses the new husband to his wife. «Mina is more calm and balanced in this third season – explains Serena Rossi – marriage is a good step forward for our social worker. However, Giorgio Pasotti is missing, in the role of Claudio, Mina’s ex-husband (their relationship ended in the previous season), and Marina Confalone, as Olga, the protagonist’s mother. The new entries: Fiore and Jonathan
New characters also take over in the third season. Fiore (Chiara Russo) is the new social worker who, after studying in Trieste, moves to Naples to work in the field alongside Mina. Mina acts as her mentor and she will soon discover that she has an affinity with her colleague: she looks a lot like her, she’s sanguine like her. However, Fiore is in Naples for sentimental reasons. Andrea, her ex, with whom she had a three-year relationship in Trieste, lives in Naples. Fiore intends to win him back. But there is more than one obstacle.
Jonathan (Erasmo Genzini) is Kevin’s charming brother. With a past as a drug dealer because of his father, he has now cleaned himself up: fa personal trainer and leads a normal life. At Mina’s request he will take care of his younger brother, who was left alone after their parents’ arrest.
