Goldielocks has previously applied for the New Music competition.
Goldielocks, for real Ella Mäntynenhas applied to UMK once before, but this time he failed with a song Made Of.

Goldielocks was the first to tell her boyfriend about her UMK place.

Goldielocks, who is from Joensuu and now lives in Berlin, says she is a fan of Wiesu. According to the artist himself, his previous productions do not “scream visa”.
– Now a song happened to be born that feels like my own and I think that this could be great for the wise. The song is modern pop with such creepies [pelottavilla] with horror spices. It also has band elements.
Goldielocks is not yet thinking about how it feels to perform in the UMK final for an audience of millions.
– You shouldn’t think about that. I always have such a flash before I go on stage. Ella would never perform, but Goldielocks does. He’s burst, he goes and he pulls full.
