Anouk Smulders is very shocked by a vulgar comment that André Rieu makes in front of the camera of Shownieuws. “Of course he is always so civilized and modest,” she says.
André Rieu gave a concert in the Amsterdam Ziggo Dome last night and before and after his performance he was with a camera crew of Show news to speak. “How do you keep it fresh? I mean, isn’t that a really chic thing to do? Making people crazy and making them cry and laugh. Yes, I love doing that,” says the violinist.
‘Just like sex!’
According to André, he knows very well how to take care of such a structure. “I have been making programs for 45 years and I know a little about how to build up. You shouldn’t start with the end. Just like sex. You have to build that up!”
Anouk Smulders is sitting at the desk and is very shocked by that vulgar comment. “That comment he made… I immediately went away (makes a shrinking movement, ed.)… Because you’re so used to how he is… And then he says: ‘It’s just like sex, you build it up!’”
