Although only two competition songs have been published, Iltalehti readers already have a clear favorite winner.
Iltalehti asked its readers who is their pre-favorite in the New Music competition.
Erika Vikman won by far the most votes in Iltalehti’s survey. He got as much as 42 percent of the votes.
Erika Vikman is participating in the New Music Competition for the second time. Previously, he took part in the competition in 2020, charming the people Cicciolina– song. At that time, Erika Vikman finished second.
This year, his song has a German title Ich komme.
Erika Vikman previously told Iltalehti that the song fell into her lap like a gift from heaven. The song was produced by Chisu and Jori Roosberg.

A total of 2,058 Iltalehti readers responded to the survey.
The first song released was by Neea Rivers Nightmares. The song was released the night before Thursday. Nelli Matulan will be published next Slower to the grave on Friday, January 10.
