It will remain slippery on Brabant’s roads on Saturday evening and Sunday morning. Code yellow for dense fog has been withdrawn by the KNMI, but the warning still remains due to slippery conditions and snow. It will be slippery in places until Sunday morning due to freezing on wet road sections. It may also snow locally.
The mercury will also drop to several degrees below zero in some places during the night from Saturday to Sunday. Wet roads can become slippery due to freezing on wet roads.
This is especially the case on local roads, cycle paths and sidewalks where less salt is spread. It remains slippery at least until ten o’clock in the morning.
Last night and morning, traffic was mainly affected by the dense fog. In some places visibility was less than two hundred meters. The fog has cleared and the KNMI therefore withdrew the warning at eight o’clock on Saturday evening.
