Arijon Ibrahimović is hardly used at FC Bayern. According to a report, the talent will therefore leave the club.
He only played one minute in the Bundesliga this season. Now Arijon Ibrahimović is apparently leaving FC Bayern and moving to Italy. This is reported by the pay TV channel Sky. The 19-year-old will join Lazio. It is said that the deal will be completed in the coming days.
The club from the “Eternal City” will initially loan Ibrahimović for six months. According to the report, the Romans then have a purchase option to tie the player to them for three years.
Ibrahimović’s contract with Bayern runs until 2027. The former Nuremberg player moved to Munich’s youth team in 2018. He made his Bundesliga debut in February 2023 in a 3-0 home win against VfL Bochum.
Since then, there have been hardly any further appearances in the first team of the German record champions. This season, Ibrahimović only played in the 4-2 win against Heidenheim in December. He also made a short appearance in the DFB Cup and the Champions League. In total he only played 16 minutes.
The German U20 international was used four times in the regional league team this season, three of which were for the full duration of the game. He scored two goals.
Ibrahimović already knows Italy from his time at Frosinone Calcio. He was loaned there in the 2023/2024 season. In 18 competitive games he scored two goals and added another.
During his time at Frosinone, Arijon Ibrahimović also met his namesake Zlatan. He took a photo with the football legend, who played for AC and Inter Milan, among others, that went viral. But Arijon and Zlatan Ibrahimović are not related.
