Anyone who goes on the road on Friday evening or Saturday morning must again be careful of slippery conditions. Due to freezing of wet road sections and an occasional winter shower, it will become slippery, just like in recent days.
The KNMI has issued a yellow weather warning. The warning applies from eight o’clock on Friday evening until eleven o’clock on Saturday morning and applies to the entire country. Especially at night, there is a very localized risk of icy rain during a shower.
It has been slippery on the roads all week and sometimes snow fell. This caused several accidents. A woman crashed her car into the garage of a house in Berkel-Enschot on Wednesday night. And a truck overturned on the A58 around midnight.
On Thursday morning, code orange was even in force due to slippery conditions.
