“Known loyalist of ousted Assad regime executed in the streets,” reports Syrian Observatory

Fighters linked to the new Syrian government have executed someone in the street. This was reported by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. It is said to be Mazen Kneneh, who is described by the Observatory as “one of the best-known stalwarts of the former regime”. Images allegedly showing his body are circulating on social media.
