Marc Martin takes on the role of Wholesale Director for Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Scandinavia at Lacoste.
Martin took on his new role at the French brand on January 1st, as Lacost Germany boss Christoph Weller announced on Friday on the career network Linkedin. With extensive experience in the footwear and fashion industries, Martin brings an “innovative vision and a proven track record,” said Weller. The new wholesale boss is expected to strengthen the brand’s premium positioning and drive growth in strategic categories.
Previously, as Head of Wholesale, Martin managed the wholesale business at the Danish shoe supplier Ecco for Central Europe. Before that, he worked for the shoe manufacturers Clarks and Gabor as well as for the US clothing group VF Corp at the shoe brand Timberland.
