A mailbox, lamppost, fence and two facades: they all had to deal with it last night. A van veered off the bend on the Naamsesteenweg in Kerkom (Sint-Truiden), causing gigantic havoc. One home, that of a 93-year-old woman, was declared uninhabitable. “She heard a very loud crack and suddenly she saw a wheel passing her,” her granddaughter responds.
