Martina Reischmann becomes a member of the management team at Reischmann GmbH & Co. KGaA. and returns to the family business.
Reischmann announced her appointment on LinkedIn on Wednesday. According to her own information on the career network, she was most recently project manager for cooperation management at the Baden-Württemberg fashion and sports retailer from September 2011 to June 2013. She has also been self-employed since February 2020 as a mentor for successors in family businesses.
Reischmann reorganizes management
Most recently, she worked as a partner for the Bonn-based management consultancy Peter May Family Business Consulting GmbH & Co. KG. Before that, she headed human resources at the Swiss clothing group Holy Fashion Group. Further stations in her career included the British packaging manufacturer DS Smith; the Thai conglomerate Central Group, which is behind several luxury department stores such as Selfridges; the former Munich fashion retailer Konen (now Breuninger) and the Hamburg clothing provider Tom Tailor Group.
Reischmann’s return to the family business is the next big change in the retailer’s executive suite. In September it was announced that managing director Peter Eberle was leaving the company. It is now clear that he will become a partner at the consulting agency Bold & Expert. In addition, just a few days ago, Susanne Straus was appointed to the Reischmann management to take over fashion purchasing. She was most recently active in the management of the now defunct clothing retailer Aachener.
FashionUnited has contacted Reischmann for further information.
