NATO CEO Mark Rutte warns that an outcome to the war against Ukraine that is favorable to Russia will embolden China and other opponents of the United States. Ukraine’s allies must therefore allow the country to start any peace talks in a strong position, Rutte said a week and a half before Donald Trump’s return to the White House.
