Amsterdam has many photogenic places and tourists in particular make good use of them. There are 37.2 million photos on Instagram with the hashtag #Amsterdam. There are just over eight million pictures of Rotterdam online. But we remain a joke compared to London. There are almost 150 million photos on the platform.
The most expensive stadium beer
That one beer expensive is in the Johan Cruijff Arena, most Ajax fans have known for years. And it will not surprise you that a beer in the Arena is the most expensive of all stadiums in the Netherlands. You pay 7.25 euros for half a liter in Amsterdam. For the cheapest beer you have to go south. At NAC, PSV and RKC, half a liter costs 5.95 euros.
Most attractive city to live in
Despite the expensive beer, the many smokers and the expensive houses, Amsterdam is still the most attractive Dutch city to live in, according to research agency Atlas Research. The study looked at employment, universities, housing prices and cultural facilities, among other things. At the bottom of the list of attractive cities to live in is the Drenthe city of Emmen.
