No more Christmas trees, but pumpkins. The Pumpkin Weizen should make up for the lack of the Winter IPA. And, as Sierink emphasizes, it is also sustainable: the pumpkins are of a variety that does not meet the ideal of beauty and is therefore hardly sold.
Important note: only an alcohol-free version of pumpkin beer is available. This fits well with the company’s new direction, Sierink explains, and with the spirit of the times. “People moderate, they drink more consciously.” That is why from now on the brewery will only make non-alcoholic beers and beers with a maximum of four percent alcohol.
