In his long speech Nelly Furtado also spoke of a real scam linked to some slimming products. “I had to take legal action against some charlatans who were selling online services based on the sale of health products and slimming solutions, using my image.” The singer, who returned to release an album in September 2024, after seven years of silence, spoke about misleading messages resulting from these advertisements that used her body to sell products that promised to make those who took them lose weight.
The Canadian artist also wanted to point out that his body has not undergone any adjustments. “And who cares, know that I have never had any surgery on my face or body, other than veneers on the top row of teeth, quite recently.” She added, “I haven’t had any facial or lip injections or fillers of any kind so far, but I have a loving, old-school facialist who I buy serums and creams from and started using when I was in my 20s.”
Regarding varicose veins, however, she added: “I have varicose veins and they remind me of my mother and my aunts and my life, so I think that’s why I haven’t separated from them so far.”
