Lisa Kudrow has on Matthew Perry remembered. During her appearance in The Drew Barrymore Show the actress said that she has a note from her late Friendsco-star with a cookie jar from after the end of the sitcom.
“Matthew Perry wrote this down for me at the end of our last episode,” Kudrow said of the cookie jar as she became emotional. “I had recently found the note he had in there for me. I hadn’t opened it or looked inside. But yes, he did it. He had a note in it and I forgot it.”
“Timing is everything,” she added, without revealing what the “cookie note” read.
The exchange came about after Barrymore asked the actress if she had ever stolen anything from the set.

Shortly after his death Kudrow dedicated a touching tribute to the late Matthew Perry on Instagramwhen she talked about filming the pilot of Friends Like Us thought. “You suggested we play poker and it was so much fun while we initially became friends. Thank you for that,” she wrote at the time. “Thank you for making me laugh so hard my muscles hurt and tears streamed down my face EVERY DAY.”
“Thank you for your open heart in a six-way relationship that required compromise,” she continued. “‘And a lot of talking” Thank you for coming to work even though you weren’t feeling well. And then you were absolutely brilliant. Thank you for the best 10 years a person can have. Thank you for trusting me.”

Matthew Perry died on October 28, 2023 at the age of 54 as a result of a “high levels of ketamine” in his body. Five people – two doctors, Perry’s roommate, a television producer and a woman known as the “Ketamine Queen” of Los Angeles – were arrested arrested and accusedof supplying Perry with the drugs that led to his fatal overdose. Last October, Perry’s mother said she was “enthusiastic“ from the criminal proceedings in connection with his death.
“I hope, and I think the authorities who have dealt with this also hope, that the people who have resorted to supplying people with the drugs that will kill them are now warned,” his said towards stepfather Today. “It doesn’t matter what your professional qualifications are. You’re going down, baby.”
