In the Netherlands, the battle for fragmented nature, small pieces of isolated nature, has broken out. The government wants to get rid of this to create more space for farmers, but ecologists want to expand the plots of land. Editor Wouter van Loon went to a favorite piece of nature and found out what difficulties the area is in.
