“It is striking that on that Saturday many visitors came from (far) outside Roeselare. 53% of the visitors were not from Roeselare, while on a normal Saturday that is around 40%. Between Christmas and New Year, a remarkable number of visitors came from further than 25 kilometers around Roeselare. On top days, about 1 in 5 visitors, which is twice as many as on a normal day,” says the City of Roeselare.
