Star actor Glenn Close’s the speech was censored at the Golden Globes. Close was one of the award presenters, she presented the award for best drama film.
Three-time Golden Globe winner Close spoke before the award presentation about a letter she had once received from an actress by Katherine Hepburn. Close said the letter was one of her most prized possessions. Iconic actor Katherine Hepburn died in 2003.

– In the letter, he described what we do as a terrible profession, a scary profession and, let’s face it, a delicious way to spend life, Close said.
After that, he said a word that was heard in the gala hall, but which the channel that broadcast the gala managed to censor with a beep.
– We are all so damn blessed and lucky to be in this room together.
So the word in question was fucking in English.
Glenn Close will be seen in the lead role in the film, which premieres at the end of January Summer bookin the movie.
The film is based on Tove Jansson’s to the novel, and it was filmed in the summer of 2023 in the archipelagos of Kotka, Porvoo and Espoo, among others.
