Nottingham Forest arrived as an epiphany as a guest of Wolves to support their positions in the battle for the top and even the championship of the Premier League.
Yes, you read that right. Little Forest, last season’s last survivor, is really in the top three of the Premier League.
Sunday’s collapse of top-placed Liverpool to a home draw with arch-nemesis Manchester United gave Forest a great opportunity to close the gap to six points.
Forest immediately demonstrated their skills at Molineux. The counterattack, which started far from their own territory, ended Anthony Elangan for serving and By Morgan Gibbs-White for finishing.
