The members of the Swedish court went on a private holiday trip to Brazil in November.

She and the king traveled to Queen Silvia’s former homeland Kaarle Kustaan with Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel with their children Estelle and Oscar and Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia with their children Alexander, Gabriel and Julian.

During the rest of the royal family’s trip, Princess Madeleine exceptionally acted as Sweden’s regent.
