In Torrette di Ancora a car crashed into a methane cabin causing a large gas leak in the area. There are two victims in the serious road accident
Around 7:45 this morning, Saturday January 4th, a serious accident on the outskirts of Ancona. According to the first reconstructions by the local police and Carabinieri, the driver of a BMW branded SUV lost control of his car and collided with other vehicles, including a Panda which crashed into a methane gas cabin. The car, continuing the race, has invested and killed two pedestriansa man and a woman. Because of the copious gas leak from the demolished methane distribution cabin, three teams of the fire brigade were deployed and the supply was interrupted in the area of the accident in via Esino and via Lambro, in Torrette di Ancona. The road to the Torrette hospital, however, has been restored and the gas supply has been guaranteed. The Municipality of Ancona invites on social media to “not leave the house and close the windows” as a precaution.
