New Year’s Day 2025 is forever etched in Montenegrin history. A gunman killed 12 people and seriously injured four others in a shooting in the town of Cetinje. The shooting has led Montenegro’s Prime Minister Milojko Spajić to call for a gun ban in the country. “Guns do not belong on the streets or in the hands of those who could hurt others.”
