We probably won’t be able to enjoy it for long, but it will most likely snow on Sunday. This is what RTV Drenthe weatherman Hans Nienhuis expects. “In a best-case scenario, it could turn white for some time.”
A depression will move over the North Sea on Saturday night and Sunday morning, bringing soft air with it. “But at the front of that depression, precipitation is still falling due to the colder air. It looks like we will have wet or even dry snow for some time on Sunday morning.”
If you want to take a photo of the white blanket or take a nice walk through the snow, do so in the morning. “In the afternoon the temperature rises to 6 or 7 degrees. And then that’s it bye bye snow. The precipitation then turns into rain and it remains cloudy.”
So there was some snow on Sunday, but today it is nice and sunny. We missed the sun for a while, so enjoy it while you can. Because from tomorrow, sun and showers will alternate. “The showers are also a bit heavier.
