A joke has been made about the Finnish brand’s new dress. According to Jussi Kurkela, the image created by the customers was not planned.

The pattern of domestic Papu Design’s novelty dress is confusing on social media.
The knee-length long-sleeved dress model is called Kanto. The light background of the dress pattern has different colored abstract patterns. Especially the patterning on the back of the dress has made people rub their eyes.
– Funny note about that picture of the back side. You might think that an “accident” has happened, the most popular comment sums up the thoughts of many.
The comment has collected several thumbs up on Facebook. In the same comment, however, it is expressed that the dress is otherwise “pretty on its own”.
The pattern of the dress is called Deep, and that pattern can also be seen in other clothes of the Finnish brand. The patterns mix shades of, for example, blue, pink, burgundy and green. The pattern was designed by an artist Hanna-Riikka Heikkilä.
In the Kanto dress in the picture, the brown patch of the pattern hits right at the back. The abstract splash is quite large.

There is also a patch on the front of the dress in the area of the lower abdomen, this time burgundy red. That has not gone unnoticed by the commentators either.
– I like Kanto dresses and I have many of them, but this one has now gone into the woods. As if the accident had happened and the trips were at the same time. What a pity, one expresses.
– The patterning is not very attractive, reflects another.
Papu Design says in its online store that pattern alignment varies from product to product, so each dress is unique.
To avoid confusion, we asked the chairman of the board of Papu Design Oy From Jussi Kurkeladoes each dress have a brown spot on the back or is there just damage to the model piece. Kurkela has previously worked as the company’s CEO.
– Well, it’s because of how the pattern is printed on the fabric. After all, the cutter doesn’t see where any pattern or color goes. In other words, they appear in random places, Kurkela sheds light on the matter.

– Of course, the designers certainly didn’t have such an idea. This is nothing new to joke about. We and someone else have always had similar ones, says Kurkela.
You can also see in the brand’s online store that in other pieces of clothing with the same Deep pattern, the color spots are in different places.
Although the comments are not only flattering, the Kanto dress is a popular model by Papu Design. Commenters on social media also point out in their messages that only the pattern has gone wrong, not the dress itself.
– Thousands, if not tens of thousands, of Kanto dresses have been sold here over the years, Kurkela confirms.
The new dress is said to be college material. The updated dress has a new cut compared to the previous Kanto dresses.
