Normally there would have been two thousand other divers standing next to them, but now these friends from Egmond are the only group that dives into the sea at exactly 2 p.m.
Sandblasting
“We have been doing this for about fifteen years,” says one of the men. “About ten years ago it was also canceled once, but we went then too.”
It is especially difficult to get to the beach due to the strong wind and sand blasting. But once in the water the temperature is not too bad. “You recovered immediately from your hangover from yesterday,” the group of friends decide together.
