You wouldn’t expect it from a Postcode Lottery colleague, but Caroline Tensen still makes a critical comment to Linda de Mol. “It did take a while indeed,” she sneers.
Linda de Mol received mixed reviews about her performance with the Gooische Vrouwen at the annual Gouden Televizier-Ring Gala. Some thought it was funny how she stood there as Cheryl in front of a room full of celebrities, others – Angela de Jong in the lead – thought it was a very high achievement.how can I make this about me?‘-quality.
‘Not funny!’
It really missed the point, Angela said in the fall. She said: “I had a strong feeling that Linda had misunderstood that she had only a minor, servant role at the gala. She only came to present an award, not to receive it.”
“The intermezzo that followed lasted far too long, had a cringe-worthy how can I make this about me content and most importantly: it was not funny at all.”
Way too long
That criticism of Linda was repeated last night in the New Year’s Eve special Dear Viewersnamely by reality star Oos Kesbeke. He says in a video: “Opinions were divided on this. There were people who thought it was hilarious and others thought it took way too long.”
Presenter Ruben Nicolai then: “The men mean the Gooische Vrouwen who were on stage during the gala. Angela de Jong wholeheartedly agreed with them, but the audience seemed to appreciate it.”
Caroline critical
Ruben then shows Linda’s fragment on the Televizier stage. “Isn’t this fun?” he says.
Studio guest Caroline Tensen, a Postcode Lottery colleague of Linda, then becomes noticeably critical: “Yes, it was funny, but it did take a while.”
Ruben: “It took too long?”
Caroline: “Yes.”
Side note
That comment from Caroline is quite spicy and clearly a statement. It is very easy, politically correct and collegial to just say that it was fun, but apparently she does not want to kneel before Linda, just like the rest of Hilversum – led by Luuk Ikink and his colleagues from RTL Boulevard. But why?
Ruben also seems surprised: “But it’s nice that it’s back, Gooische Vrouwen?”
Caroline frugals: “Yes, I think it’s really funny that it’s back. Sure. And it’s a roaring success. And there are a lot of funny scenes in it. And white wine.”
Glow filter
And a glow filter of course. When Ruben is also subjected to such a filter — a very hackneyed joke — Caroline shouts: “It doesn’t work for you. Shame! Hahahaha.”
By the way, the people at the desk are unanimous about Peter Pannekoek. “Peter is just really good for this show. He brings air. Normally it is a bit dry,” said Edson da Graça.
Ruben: “Yes, sometimes those presentations are of those very bad plays.”
Edson: “Yes, super scripted.”
