The 2023 Miss Finland finalist Scharliina Eräpuro, 24, will be seen along Singles naked in the new episodes of the reality show. Apart from Miss, Scharliina is also a singer-songwriter and actress. He also has his own charity Little Girl Project.
– I want to help other survivors who have experienced sexual violence, Scharliina explains in the program.
He has had to experience sexual violence himself as a child. Born in Finland, Scharliina spent almost her entire childhood in Sweden. He returned to his country of birth four years ago. Finland considers Scharliina to be a safe haven.
– My childhood was really horrible and tough. I experienced sexual abuse, violence and bullying almost my entire childhood.

The consequences were bad. At the age of 14, Scharliina got sick with a bad eating disorder. He suffered from panic attacks and describes being completely confused. He lost himself completely.
– I have developed different personalities to survive a terrible trauma.
In 2020, Scharliina received professional help. The road to recovery has been rocky, and he doesn’t want to embellish it.
– I was 100% on sick leave and full-time in therapy.
– The handling of these matters took many years.

In the opening episode of the series, Scharliina goes on three blind dates. For that, she removes her makeup, which is a moving experience. The thoughts return to Sweden and the time when Scharliina was only an 11-13 year old child.
– I was bullied both at school and at home. At home was the worst. When I was 12 years old, I heard from an adult man how I was a Finnish whore and quite shocking looking.
– It really feels really sad to think about it.
