Wellness coach Martina Aitolehti42, says in a recent Martina & Esko’s podcast in the episode about the difficult relationship with his current spouse’s ex-spouse.
Aitolehti has been dating an Australian man since 2022. The couple is planning a wedding for the summer of 2025.
Both Aitolehti and the man have two children from previous relationships. Aitolehti has 15- and 12-year-old daughters, while the husband has 8- and 9-year-old children.
According to Aitolehti, the children’s mother has put a stick in the wheel.

Aitolehti’s ex-spouse Esko Eerikäinen asks in the podcast what the woman in question has done. Aitolehti answers.
– Manipulated children, talked bad about me to children. Told the kids they shouldn’t call me stepmom. Blocked me from the kids phone.
Aitolehti wonders about the woman’s behavior already because to him Aitolehti is just an unknown woman from the other side of the world.
– He really doesn’t know anything about me. It was immediately full of hatred towards me when they were told that the children’s father has a new spouse, Aitolehti reveals.

Aitolehti says that he has also met his partner’s ex-spouse, but the encounters do not contribute to the situation. Aitolehti would have hoped that the mothers would be able to respect each other in the situation, but that has not happened.
Due to difficult times, Aitolehti has thought that it would be easier if she was not involved with her spouse’s children.
– And then the man suffers from it, Aitolehti sighs.
Aitolehti and Eerikäinen, who have a joint podcast, were married between 2007 and 2011 and have one daughter together. The ex-couple are now friends.
