China proposes brand new high-speed train that would be the “fastest in the world”.

China has unveiled a prototype of its latest generation of high-speed train, the CR450, which developers say will be the fastest in the world. According to the Chinese Ministry of Transport, the train reaches a top speed of 450 kilometers per hour and will be used for commercial passenger transport in the future.
