Crescent-star motorcyclist Bahattin Sofuoğlu, like “El Turco”, will say “hello” to the 2025 WSBK season on February 21.
Bahattin, who started his international racing career in the Asian Talent Cup in 2016, moved to the World Supersport Championship (WorldSSP) in 2022. The national athlete, who competed here for three seasons and achieved first place, saw the podium 4 times.
Bahattin, the second Turkish athlete to compete in WSBK, aims to be in the top ranks like Toprak.
RACE SCHEDULE OF THE 2025 WORLD SUPERBIKE CHAMPIONSHIP
Bahattin Sofuoğlu, who will compete in the organization for the first time with 2021 and 2024 World superbike champion Red Bull athlete Toprak, will start the new season with the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit stage in Australia on February 21.
After the Australian stage, the organization will take a break of about a month.
The second leg of WSBK in 2025 will be held at the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve Circuit in Portugal between 28-30 March.
In the 2025 World Superbike Championship, the Netherlands TT Assen Circuit, Italy’s Cremona Circuit Strada Giuseppina, Czech Republic’s Autodrom Most, Italy’s Emilia-Romagna Misano World Circuit, England’s Donington Park, Hungary’s Balaton Park, respectively. Races will be organized at Magny Cours in France, Aragon in Spain, Estoril in Portugal and Circuito de Jerez in Spain.
The 2025 World Superbike Championship will be completed with the 12th and final race in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, on 17-19 October.
