Pjotr Sauer grew up in Russia, where he could do his job as a journalist for a long time. Until the war broke out and he was suddenly seen as the enemy. He was leaving the country – for a while, he thought. But two and a half years later, he still doesn’t know when or if he can return. He talks about his friend and colleague Evan Gerschkovich, who was arrested and became a pawn in a geopolitical game between Russia, the United States and Germany. “You don’t know what kind of friend you’ll get in return.”
