Professional boxer Paul Bamba35, died Friday. The man had won the WBA Gold belt just six days earlier. Bamba’s weight class was lower heavyweight.
– It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, friend and boxing champion Paul Bamba, the family’s press release says.
The star artist shared the announcement on Instagram Ne-Yowho was a good friend of Bamba’s.
The family described Bamba as a man whose “light and love touched countless people”.
– He was a fierce but confident competitor with an unrelenting ambition to achieve greatness. But above all, he was a tremendous individual who inspired many with his extraordinary energy and determination, the sad news says.
Bamba played no less than 14 times this year. He won all his matches. Fell in the last fight Rogelio Medina Luna. After the match, Bamba announced that the YouTube star Jake Paul’s should face him next.
Puerto Rican Bamba’s professional career had 22 matches, 19 wins and three losses. No less than 18 of the wins came before full time.
