On Friday evening, the fire brigade responded to a villa along Spinnerijstraat in Moen. A seat in the house caught fire when one or more logs were thrown into the fireplace. The fire was brought under control fairly quickly, but there was enormous smoke development. The house has been declared temporarily uninhabitable and both residents have been taken to hospital for evaluation.
