John-Jason Peterka won the NHL duel between the German national ice hockey players against Lukas Reichel.
Peterka’s Buffalo Sabers beat Reichel’s Chicago Blackhawks 6-2, the two 22-year-old strikers each managed an assist. Player of the day was Buffalo’s Alex Tuch with three goals.
No reason to be happy for Seider and Sturm
Like the Sabers (13 wins) and the Blackhawks (12), the Detroit Red Wings (13) with defender Moritz Seider and the San Jose Sharks (11) with striker Nico Sturm are among the weakest teams in the NHL.
Detroit suffered its next defeat against the Toronto Maple Leafs, with Seider contributing an assist in the 2:5. Sturm remained without a scorer in his Sharks’ 3:6 defeat against the Vegas Golden Knights.
