Two Italian alpinists who went missing five days ago during a trek across the Gran Sasso, a mountain massif northeast of Rome, have been found dead. Luca Perazzini (42) and Cristian Gualdi (48) were able to notify the emergency services that they had slipped into a ravine, but they were unable to find them in time.
