Wolfsburg goalkeeper Kamil Grabara lashes out violently against a former teammate in a podcast. This has a common history.
Former Liverpool goalkeeper Kamil Grabara made serious allegations against Scottish defender Scott McKenna in a Polish podcast. Grabara, who moved to VfL Wolfsburg in the summer, called McKenna “the worst footballer I have ever seen”. The two players were teammates at FC Copenhagen, where tensions are said to have arisen between them.
Speaking to the Foot Truck podcast, Grabara continued: “I had situations in training where we were working on a play and he did it his way three times. The fourth time I told him not to do it that way . And the fifth time he did it again.” He added: “He was the only footballer I didn’t want to train or talk to.”
Tensions apparently escalated at the beginning of the year when, according to reports from the Danish platform “Bold”, both players physically clashed during a training session and had to be separated. McKenna, who currently plays for Las Palmas in Spain’s La Liga, and Grabara have both since left the club.
