A car ended up upside down in a ditch in the Wijk last night. The accident happened on Dorpsstraat.
For unknown reasons, the driver lost control of the vehicle. According to witnesses, the car hit a curb hard and was more or less launched.
The vehicle overturned, went through a bush and eventually came to a stop in a ditch. The occupants were not injured. The police are investigating the cause of the accident. The Dorpsstraat in the Wijk was temporarily closed.
