Parents Damian and Joyce are tired but satisfied after the birth of their Christmas baby Kenny at the Elisabeth-TweeSteden Hospital in Tilburg. The birth took no less than 28 hours, but fortunately mother and son are doing well. “I think Kenny waited until Christmas to come into the world,” says father Damian proudly.
Kenny was born at 5:44 am on Christmas Day. This was done with a caesarean section. Father and mother think it is very special to have a Christmas child. “At least he will always have delicious food on his birthday,” Damian jokes. But a Christmas baby. that is really special and we never expected it,” says the new father.

The baby is sleeping wonderfully and everything is working well,” says the happy father. But after a delivery that lasted 28 hours, father Damian and mother Joyce are completely exhausted: “It is a mixed feeling, on the one hand we are euphoric, but on the other the other side very tired.”
Father Damian doesn’t mind that they won’t have Christmas dinner this year. Tomorrow the proud parents hope to be able to go home and enjoy Kenny at home.
