Mateus Mendonca had a clear message for all the contestants.
The former UFC fighter experienced a very painful moment in a seemingly harmless situation.
Brazilian Mateus Mendonca was practicing Brazilian jujutsu. In the middle of the mat wrestling, the knee of Mendonca’s coach hit him in the crotch when Mendoca was passing the coach’s guard position.
– Then I felt excruciating pain and ran to the bathroom. I felt a burning sensation in my lower end. However, the pain passed, and I continued to complete the training.
It later turned out that Mendoca’s penis was broken.
– A month later, however, I started to notice problems. There was a patty. I went to the hospital and was immediately referred for surgery.
Having learned from the incident, Mendoca had a clear message for everyone.
– Always use a lower protective cup. This was the first time I got hit there badly, and I had to have surgery right away. I was completely sidelined from the sport for two months.
The 25-year-old Mendonca got to try his skills in the number one freestyle promotion in the UFC. The result was three losses. The third came last February, which got him fired.
